Part Time Job Vacancy- Holiday Cottages Housekeeper
Person/s required to complete changeovers and manage laundry for 4 busy Holiday Cottages at Draydon, near Dulverton.
The duties involve:
At present, 3 Cottages ( two with 1 bedroom and one with 2 bedrooms) have a Friday changeover and the other larger one with 3 bedrooms has a Saturday changeover. These changeover days are to achieve a 10am to 3pm turnaround for each Cottage. There is some flexibility in that changeover days could be changed to all on Fridays if required. However, in order for one person to meet the current turnaround times , the larger cottage is completed on a Saturday. The laundry is completed at the housekeeper’s convenience ready for the following week’s changeovers.
At present I have two self-employed ladies ( mother and daughter) which share the work but their personal circumstances have changed and they now have to give up the cottages in December to concentrate on a family business. They have enjoyed the work and will be happy to show the new housekeeper how they manage the cottages.
They invoice me weekly and are paid per Cottage for the changeovers and per item for the laundry.
This position is ideally suited to someone who can complete either a part day on a Friday from 9.30 to 3pm and a Saturday from 10am to 12.30pm for changeovers plus complete the laundry before the following week. Or, 2 people who would like to share all the changeovers on a Friday and complete the laundry before the following week.
If you are interested in this position, please email Jane Scripps in the first instance with details of your experience and how you would propose to manage the role: firstname.lastname@example.org. Jane Scripps - Director, Adrian Scripps Ltd 01643 831521.
